[04/14/2004] Twenty-three days left. This is Amish, and 23 are exactly how many days of class I have left before I finish my undergraduate career. It's been a long road, and worth it, but by no means is it over just yet. In addition to classwork, I've been busy working the phones and email setting up meetings with some companies for this year's E3 expo. One of the particular disadvantages of our site is that we don't qualify as "corporate media" (take a guess at who those outlets might be). However, because we're larger than a lot of other fan sites, many major companies bother to pay special attention to us, which is always a pleasant experience.
In that sense, it's a good thing that we're not in the "big leagues": Most of our staff and RPGamer's readership consist of people who love the games. If anyone dares to think for a second that we do this for lots of money...you're nuts.
Whatever the case, I'm just glad to be nearing the end of the tunnel with regards to school. The immediate aftermath will be spent in Chicago, and trust me, that's going to be an amazing weekend!
