[08/19/2003]   I'm happy to announce that calling you slackers seems to have aroused a few of you... And you know that's not what I meant, so get your mind out of the gutter, people. At any rate, this week we see a few more games removed from our 'No Reader Reviews' list, and a massive increase in reader productivity. So, pips to you.

As I mentioned last week, I'm currently working on a few little projects to keep Points of View in fully functioning order and add some extra goodies. First and foremost on the list is the creation of statistical information. Just to throw out a little sample of what you'll see when I'm done, I'll tell you that as of this update there are:

• 40 Unofficial Staff Reviews
• 529 Reader Reviews

For those of you that are counting, that brings us to a grand total of 723 reviews on RPGamer. While that's practically nothing next to GameFAQs or GameRankings, our review specifications are vastly more stringent than theirs. So, when I tell you that you've done an incredible amount of work (and a good job, I should add), believe me. Anyhow, on to the reviews and, until next week, don't put pop-rocks in your Dr. Pepper... It's just not healthy for the environment.
