[01/08/2006]   2006...year of opportunity...or something. I trust you have all made resolutions, yes? We have to. We won't tell you what all of them are, but I've already crossed one of my RPGamer-related ones off the list: almost all of our subpages have been redesigned and added to for easier reference. Useful, ne? Another of my goals is to re-write my old reader reviews this month using staff guidelines, though I'll probably only do this for games that we lack staff coverage for. As you can see, I'm starting out with Revelations: Demon Slayer.

   We also begin this year by answering some of the challenge requests. Let's see here...*tosses some of the requests around in a really old tennis ball can, shakes it, and removes one*...the first request is for me to review Parasite Eve 2. Simple enough I suppose, though it might have to wait until spring break since my classes begin tomorrow. Request #2 is to give a lesson on how to do HTML updates. Alright, I'll start typing a tutorial up and try to have it on the site for next week. And the final request is to...ugh...post a picture of myself -_-;;. Well, as "luck" would have it, I have a picture from my trip, but I had only planned on sharing it with the staff. I guess a promise is a promise though, here. Don't say I never did anything embarrassing for you. I'd draw several more requests if you'd won the contest, but luckily (for us) that didn't happen. Some of these remaining requests make me glad I drew the ones I did. Well, aside from my picture.

   Ah yes, one last note. Karlinn of eds fame has succeeded in writing enough reviews to attain the rank of copper. Congrats! Then the Ronald McDonald clones drew their lightsabers and morphed into Power Rangers. Using their new powers, they fought Hitler and his one legged monkey in an epic duel on the frozen wastelands of Mars. The skeletal rhino barked as if to...yeah, just seeing if you're paying attention. I wonder how many people actually read these blurbs? Just ignore me. The thought of getting up at dawn and returning to a full workload is tampering with my sanity.
