[01/01/2006]   Welcome to 2006! Most people stayed up until midnight partying and whatnot, but I spent my time trying to get my stupid Internet connection to work so I could upload my last two reviews of the year. Well, that and playing with Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Wild ARMs Alter Code F, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, and Mario Kart DS. I guess it wasn't a total waste after all. Anywho, as I write this, my connection is still kind of erratic, but I'll get this stuff up by midnight if I have to upload it one line at a time.

   Before I forget, we had two updates last week to ensure that the contest entries were all posted by today. The other one is here in case you missed it.

   Probably the biggest news right now is that the contest is over. The final tally is 72 points for the readers and 81 for the staff. We may have won, but I think both sides did very well. The challenge was also messed up a bit by some readers becoming staff in the early stages. Though I didn't count some of the reviews they wrote for us after switching sides, I still feel we owe you some consolation prize. I still haven't decided which of your suggestions I'm going to go with, but I'll try to have it narrowed down by next week. It's too bad kweee quit a while back...I was hoping to hear his's Karaoke.

   Whelp, that about covers it. Let me know if you have any more prize ideas or suggestions to make Points of View even better in 2006.
