It's been a quiet front concerning Xenosaga Episode II news recently, but that silence is now broken. Sources have strongly indicated that the subtitle of Namco's upcoming second installment in the Xenosaga series will be Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Boese, which translates as "Beyond Good and Evil." This follows the Nietzsche book nomenclature established by Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht (The Will of Power).

Xenosaga Episode II is reported to follow the continuing exploits of Episode I's Shion Uzuki, but with a heavier focus on discovering the history of the character Jr. Additionally, Namco has stated that the new game will be a huge change from its predecessor, thematically.

While Namco has released little information on its upcoming title, an official press conference concerning Episode II is planned for July 21, at which time many questions should be put to rest.
