Golden Sun Sequel to hit North America
Golden Sun: The Lost Age

The Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles was the scene for Nintendo's pre-E3 press conference, and they had an impressive array of new titles for gamers to enjoy this year. Of special interest to RPGamers was the official announcement of a North American release for Golden Sun: The Lost Age, a sequel to one of the most popular RPGs on the Game Boy Advance.

Several new features will be implemented, and once again the Djinn spirits will play an important role in the game. Players can also battle each other in a style similar to the original Golden Sun. Emphasis will be placed on action puzzles involving the spirits outside of battle. The story will also be much larger than the original game, and there will be many more chances for gameplay outside of the battles.

This will be an exciting title to preview during E3, where Nintendo has started with an extremely strong lineup. Golden Sun: The Lost Age is slated for a 1st Quarter release in 2003, and more details will soon follow.
