New information has come to light regarding the plot and battle systems for Arc the Lad: Seirei no Tasogare, the fourth game in the Arc the Lad series. Although it was already known that Kharg of the human world and Darc of the demon realm would be the two main protagonist, they will have even more in common as they are related by blood; brothers born of an affair between Princess Nefia and Windolf, a hero of the demons. Unfortunately, the two brothers have been separated since birth and unaware of each other's relationship or even existence.

It has also been revealed that there will be four main battle features to aid players during combat. In addition to the tension system, which has been mentioned previously, there will be: the assist attack system, where nearby characters will combo with one another during battle if their relationship values are high enough; the active gimmick system, where objects and terrain on the battlefield may be attacked to cause damage or produce effects; and the attachment system, which will allow players to attach items and accessories to their weapons to increase their effectiveness. Arc the Lad: Seirei no Tasogare is currently scheduled for a May 20th release in Japan and has not yet been confirmed for release in North America.
