Tri-Ace has revealed a new feature in Star Ocean 3. The game will feature a fighting simulator, which players can use to familiarize themselves with the game's battle system. Players can use the two characters they start with in the simulator, who are using the simulator to prepare for the real battles that await them in the game.

Star Ocean 3 is the newest installment in the Star Ocean series. The story takes place almost 400 years after that of the previous game. Enix will release Star Ocean 3 in Japan on February 27 for 7800 yen (approx. $65 US).
