Namco Traces Summoner's Lineage

Namco has graciously outlined some interesting details regarding its upcoming GameBoy Advance title, Tales of the World: Summoner's Lineage -- specifically other characters, the main objective of the story, and the two play modes.

Fulein Lester, along with Macaroon, will be accompanied by two more characters during his quest. The first is 13-year-old Belga Montool, an orphan thanks to the deeds of dark forces. The second is her twin brother Bolga, who experienced terrible emotional trauma after witnessing the murder of their parents. Together, they will help Fulein locate an artifact called the Summoner's Ring.

Two battle modes will be available for players. One is the heroic mode, which is the traditional story mode that every player should be familiar with, and the other is the duel mode, while allows two players to compete via link-up or one player to fly solo against computer-controlled enemies.

Tales of the World: Summoner's Lineage will arrive in Japan this spring. There has been no word of a North American release yet.
