Mega Man Battle Network 3, the next installment in Capcom's highly popular Gameboy Advance series, will be coming in two distinct versions, a la Pokémon. The different versions, dubbed Blue and White after the color on their cartridges, will feature a great deal of overlapping content, but will vary in the exact enemies and types of battle chips Mega Man can collect. The White version will feature unique "ground" type battle chips, while the Blue version will feature unique "shadow" type battle chips. Players will be able to trade with other players for the battle chip data they need to complete their collection.
Mega Man Battle Network 3 was already released in Japan, and is slated for a rather ambiguous "Spring" release in North America. Capcom has made no mention of a possible European release as of yet.
