Dark Age of Camelot Gets a Visual Upgrade
Dark Age of Camelot

Numerical Design Limited announced today that Mythic Entertainment's Dark Age of Camelot is set to get a graphical boost in the near future. The game, which has received acclaim for the current visuals, courtesy of NDL's NetImmerse 3.0 3D engine, will be making use of the latest version of the graphics tool. One of the chief advantages that gamers will notice is that NetImmerse 4.2 will allow for more characters on-screen at once.

"We are delighted to announce our plans to utilize the advanced graphic features of the latest NDL engine as part of our continued commitment to the player experience we've created in Dark Age of Camelot," said Rob Denton, Mythic's chief technical officer. "Our intention has always been to make Dark Age of Camelot the leading MMORPG on the market. These graphic enhancements will ensure that our players have the very best visual experience while enjoying an unparalleled online game play."

"Dark Age of Camelot is one of the most graphically rich and complex MMORPGs ever released," said John Austin, president of NDL. "We are extremely pleased that we can continue to be a part of the game's success."

No word yet on exactly when the Arthurian MMORPG will be gussied up, but expect us to inform you when that changes.
