Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis for the Game Boy Advance is currently scheduled for a May 1, 2002 North
American release, according to Nintendo's official Web site.
The strategy RPG represents Quest's fifth installment in its Ogre Battle series, and the story is said to take place
between Ogre Battle 64 and Tactics Ogre. The latter was originally released for the SNES but did not see a domestic
release until Atlus published the title for the PlayStation console in 1998.
Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis is most reminiscent of Tactics Ogre and Square's Final Fantasy Tactics,
with its story-based battle scenarios played-out on 3-D, isometric fields. The largest maps will be 32 x 32 squares, and up to eight units can be employed.
Strategy RPG fans will definitely want to keep their eyes on this title as its spring release approaches.
