Shortly after arriving the island, Fairy comes out from your hair and try to open the gate to the Sanctuary. At first she fails. "I ...... I'll try again!" then she casts all the 8 Spirits you've collected. Then the gate opens, but ...... it's up on the sky.
Soon all people can see the gate. The Magician of Red Lotus and Empress of Reason will first go into the Sanctuary by a flying ship (similar to those in FF). They even fire at you, and you're faint for a while. At the same time, the Beast army from the Beast Kingdom also starts its journey. Big hawks help the soldiers to fly towards the gate. The Earl of Evil Eye and Isabella (Beautiful Beast) then sit in a ballon and fly towards to gate.
All the evil people's gone to the Sanctuary, and what about you? "I've heard about the story of Flamie the dragon." says Fairy, "It lives near Rolant. Let's go to Rolant and ask the amazoness to help us!"
So you call back Seamaster and swim towards Palo. Go to Rolant from there and the amazoness will open a secret passage for you. "Flamie lives at the Peak. Go there and it'll help you." So you go to the Peak. There's no boss there, and you'll see Flamie at the Peak. You ride on it, and it'll immediately fly to the Mana Sanctuary.
Mana Sanctuary
Flamie flies towards the gate under the Forgotten Island, and you've reached the Sanctuary. There has been a fierce battle inside the Sanctuary.
"They all want to get the Mana Sword, so they fight and nobody wins." says Fairy, "Now it's the best chance to get the Mana Sword. Go to the Mana Tree quickly!" so you walk around the Sanctuary. Sometimes you gotta walk on lotus leaves (!) in order to continue your journey. There're three Mana Statues at the middle: Two of them are for refreshing and saving the game, while the central one is a substitute of the Mana Stone (for class change). Save the game here, and go on.
Soon you're under the Mana Tree. "You've come finally." says the Tree, "The world is now in danger. The Jinjus(8 beasts beaten by Goddess Mana using the Mana Sword) will come out when the Mana Stones are destroyed. Please pick up the Mana Sword under me. It'll help you to save the world. Also I'll give you the Drum of Wind. You can call up Flamie wherever you are if you've got this."
You pick up the Mana Sword and the Drum inside the treasure box (REMEMBER to empty an item in your circular menu). "Let's go, Fairy!" you says, but there's no answer. "Fairy, Fairy, where are you?"
You go back to see what's going on. During your return, you'll meet the Earl of Evil Eye, Magician of Red Lotus and Body-eating Man. The one you finally met depends on who you have (Magician for Duran and Angela, Body-eater for Kevin and Charlotte, Earl for Riesz and Hawkeye). The person you finally met captures Fairy.
"Go to Artena/Beast Kingdom/Nabaal if you wanna save Fairy, ha ha ha
......!" then he disappear. Leave the Sanctuary by calling Flamie. The
world map will highlight a place when you leave the Santuary. This place
also depands on who you are (for me, using Duran, I go to Artena).
The Jinjus come out
You gotta start fighting once you arrived Artena/Beast Kingdom/Nabaal. At the end you'll meet the Magician/Body-eater/Earl. "Give me the Mana Sword, or I'll kill Fairy." he says. You give him the Mana Sword, and he releases Fairy. Suddenly there's an earthquake. The Mana Stones are finally destroyed. The Jinjus comes out again.
"Ha Ha Ha!" says the Magician/Body-eater/Earl, "I can control the Mana Power using this Sword and the Jinjus. Then he disappears.
"Sorry, you've given up the Sword to save me." says Fairy.
"Never mind, but how can we save the world now?" you say.
"You must beat the 8 Jinjus to save the world. They spread throghout the whole world. I'll highlight their positions on the world map. Let's go!"
You leave by calling Flamie. If you've counted the highlighted places on the world map, you may wonder, "Why there's 1 point missing?" This question has no answer now, but your question will be solved later in this game.
Now it's time to beaten the Jinjus!
