Northwest Snowland

(or you can say NW Territory, since it's also very cold)

The snowland locates at the northwest of the world. Swim towards Elladd, the Town of Snow. Since the journey to the Spirit of Water is quite long, fully equip yourself now because there's no other towns inside the Snowland (except for Artena - but its gate is closed). You can enter the snowland by the passage southeast of Elladd.

Since you may reach Level 18 here, I recommend you to get the first class change now. Go back to the Mana Stone in the Corridor of Wind to have the class change. Remember: Once you changed the attributes of your characters, there's no way you can correct your choice.

Later in the Snowland, you'll reach a place where you can go to 3 directions : Artena if you go northwest, and a blind end if you go northeast. Forget these two, and go south. Then you'll have 2 more ways to go: Right to the boss, and left to a gold Mana Statue. Save your game under the Mana Statue, and go to beat the boss.

At first, a mysterious armored warrior appears. He released three magical robot to block your way to the Mana Stone. This time these robots' magic power is greater, so defeat them quickly. After beating these robot, go to the cave nearby, and you'll get the Spirit of Water there.

Southwest Desert

Swim towards southwest, you'll reach the Ciy of Sand. Again, fully equip yourself. But this time, there's another town inside the desert. So if your level isn't so good (under 16), go to the desert first before you go to the snowland.

After you've reach a tunnel-like feature inside the desert, there's a secret passage towards Nabaal (it appears when you've defeated the monsters at the screen). But you don't need to go to Nabaal right now. To take a rest, go east when these's 2 passages for you to choose (go south to reach the Mountain of Flame), and you'll find the Oasis Town.

Shortly before you enter the Mountain, you're blocked by Ben & Bill. Boss time again. It's easier to defeat them if you've obtained the class change. After beating them, enter the Mountain.

There's a passage inside the Mountain that is blocked by flame. Ignore this passage (but remember it: you'll go there later this game), and save your game under the Mana Statue inside. At the end, you'll see Isabella capturing Jessica. "Don't move, or I'll kill her." says Isabella. Suddenly, there's a dart flying towards Isabella. It's Hawkeye (if you don't use him) or Nikita (if you use Hawkeye). You save Jessica immediately. Isabella then runs away. "I'll bring Jessica to the Oasis. Get the Spirit of Fire now!" says Hawkeye/Nikita, and he goes away with Jessica then. Go to the Mana Stone, and get the Spirit of Fire there.

Mission accomplished ...... partly. Go back to the Oasis and see Jessica. "She's fine, but I still can't heal the magic Isabella spelt on her. (Please refer to the Hawkeye's Pilot Episode for details)" says Hawkeye/Nikita. You can't help her anyway, and so you may go back to the City of Sand.

Moonlight Forest

[If you haven't got the above two Spirits, the way to the Forest will be blocked.]

Moonlight Forest is about at the center of the world map. Leaving Seamaster at the beach, you'll reach the Moonlight City, Minton. Day and night have no difference here (there's no days, only nights). Again, equip yourself before you go.

Since the monsters inside the forest are mostly werewolves and dogs, with high attack power, check your HP frequently or buy some good stuff from the armor shop. After passing the Mana Statue, you'll meet Rugar in front of the Moon Tower. Boss time now. His attack power is very great, so watch out your HP. After beating him, go to the Tower and the Spirit of Moon will appear before the Mana Stone there.

Lampflower Forest

[If you haven't got the above three Spirits, the way to the Forest will be blocked. It is recommended to go there AT NIGHT]

The Lampflower Forest is located north of the world map. Shortly after you leave the beach, cast the Spirit of Moon to remove the obstacles blocking you. Many players are puzzled in this part of the game because there's a place where you can have 4 ways to go. They go round and round and cannot find the way out. Thus it is recommended to go there at night, and follow the direction of the RED flowers. After that, you'll reach a place with two tombs. Go to the passage near the tomb, and it's the Town of Elves.

Everyone is silent inside the town. You go to the house at the west of the town, and the "mayor" lives there. He's actually another grandfather of Charlotte, the father of her mother (Charlotte is a semi-Elf). The tomb outside the town are for Charlotte's parents. If your squad doesn't include Charlotte, she'll go out and be told that her parents died here.

Then you tell him about the Spirit of Wood. "Oh! You've got only one left. Okay, go to the Mana Statue inside the forest, and cast the Spirit of Moon again. It'll open another passage towards the Spirit of Wood. Since it's trapped by some monster, you must defeat the boss of the monster before getting the spirit." Then the Town returns to normal. You can sleep in the inn or buy some stuff at the weapon or armor shop.

Go to the Mana Statue as mentioned, and cast the Spirit of Moon. A hidden passage is opened, and you'll reach the boss - a giant pumpkin - at the end of the passage. Its attack power isn't very great, but it's got a lot of HP. After defeating it, the Spirit of Wood will appear. Now you've got all of the Spirit.

"Let's go to the Forgotten Island and open the gate to the Mana Sanctuary." says Fairy. Mission accomplished, and you can leave the forest.

The Forgotten Island is located just southeast to the forest.

That's all this time, folks
