The Saving Throw
In A Bind Apr. 19, 2006
Talking about the weather is boring. Controlling it is much more fun.

And so it begins. . .

Wednesday rolls around yet again, and naturally, so does a new Saving Throw. This week brings you a new hall of fame story from me and a prestige class from our Sound Test curator. In my story, I tell you about how we felt a enemy ship in a serious bind, and RedBeastMage gives you the ability to control the weather with his Stormlord prestige class.

Remember, readers, you can get yourself a golden caret by sending in a guide. I know you have good advice to share with your fellow gamers. Also, this week, I want to request your luckiest stories; tell me of the times the dice were just rolling your way or things just worked out great. I'll give you an golden caret in exchange for these stories as well.

With that done, it's time for the column.

Sailing on the Foul Wind by Nwash New this week

Worldwide prerelease tournaments for the Dissension card set for Magic: The Gathering are being held on the weekend of April 22. Those interested have to check with their local organizer for entry fee information, but this fee provides them with a Ravinca: City of Guilds tournament pack and three Dissension booster packs.
