The Temple of Blood introduces players and Game Masters alike to Goodman Games' new Wicked Fantasy Factory line of adventures. As such, it is shorter than the rest, and serves as an starter for the larger Rumble in the Wizard's Tower although it also functions fine by itself.

The Wicked Fantasy Factory series features new monsters, new magical items a "second wind" option for villians, color maps, and another interesting feature, the "Phat Loot". This optional feature allows the Game Master to award the players' with a particularly powerful or valuable item, with an in-game value equal to the amount of all the other loot in the adventure combined.

The Temple of Blood is a short adventure, designed for first level characters. Numerous women have disappeared, and the players are tasked with locating them. The mission is particularly urgent, as the Queen is one of the missing. The adventure encompasses two areas, the sewers and an ancient temple that has been subverted by an evil cleric. Despite the short nature of the adventure, it should still prove a formidable challenge for a even veteran players, and the twisting storyline and interesting play options fostered by the Wicked Fantasy Factory series will provide an entertaining gaming session for all.
