Following on from its previous video highlighting the Nano class, Torment: Tides of Numenera publisher Techland Games released a new trailer focusing on the Glaive. Glaives are primarily warriors in the Ninth World, using their weapons and armour to vanquish their opponents. Players can choose to build their Glaive character on a spectrum between Might and Speed, building a more tank-based champion or being a speedy ranged attacker as Glaives are the only class able to attack more than once per turn.

Torment: Tides of Numenera takes place in Monte's Cook Numenera tabletop setting on the Ninth World, which is the planet Earth one billion years in the future. Remnants of previous civilizations still remain, though knowledge of them has been lost. The game will see release on PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in early 2017.
