Techland Games has begun releasing a series of videos that details the three different classes available in the upcoming RPG, Torment: Tides of Numenera. The first of these focuses on the Nano, the Ninth World's parallel to a wizard. Nanos are masters of Numenera, ancient devices left behind by extinct civilizations, that seem to the uneducated to be magical. These devices make the Nanos versatile in both combat and conversational situations.

Torment takes place in the Ninth World, the planet Earth one billion years in the future. Remnants of previous civilizations still remain, though knowledge of them has been lost. The game will see release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in early 2017.
