Bandai Namco announced a crossover RPG between Accel World and Sword Art Online, two light novel series written by Reki Kawahara that have branched into various multimedia adaptations. Not much is known about the game, titled Accel World vs. Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight, at this stage aside from that it is an action RPG and it will be released for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2017.

In related news, the publisher released the fifth official Japanese trailer for its most recent Sword Art Online game, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization. The game will come with a Season Pass in Japan, which includes a three-part "Shrine Maiden of the Abyss" story arc, with the individual episodes available to buy separately. There will also be a weapon granted to those who have save data for Hollow Fragment or Re: Hollow Fragment (separate weapon with each game) and an accessory for those with Lost Song save data. Finally, Yuuki has been confirmed as a playable character.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on October 27, 2016. The game will be released for those same platforms in North America and Europe shortly afterwards on November 8, 2016.
