NIS America has announced that it is bringing the original Disgaea: Hour of Darkness to Steam. Called Disgaea PC, this updated version will arrive in February 2016. There is currently no price announced for the title.

New features for the PC versions will include remodeled sprites and map screens, an updated UI, keyboard and mouse support, and the ability to mix old art assets with new ones. Additionally, Disgaea PC will have Steam Trading Cards, Badges, and Achievements. Full Japanese audio will also be available.

Disgaea follows the story of Laharl, the son of the previous Overlord. Laharl must gather allies and battle his way to the throne to become the next Overlord. Those interested in reading more about the game can read RPGamer's many reviews here.
