Square Enix has recently been giving players a chance to preview Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn with a series of videos from the game's alpha version. All videos have been taken from the Japanese version of the game and can be viewed below, with the first video showing the character creation options. The second video takes a trip through the game's revamped version of the city-state of Gridania, while the third and fourth videos provide a tour of the Black Shroud, the vast forest that includes Gridania.
