BioWare has provided an update on the upcoming Mass Effect Trilogy Edition on its official blog. In it the company provided the release date for the PS3 version, which will be released on December 4 in North America and December 7 in Europe, roughly a month after the Xbox 360 and PC release.
The Trilogy Edition's included DLC content was also revealed, which varies depending upon the platform. The PS3 release will include Bring Down the Sky integrated into the first Mass Effect game, while Mass Effect 2 will include all the content originally provided on the PS3 disc — Cerberus Network, Kasumi - Stolen Memory, Overlord, and Lair of the Shadow Broker. Mass Effect 3 will also include the content provided with the original release.
The Xbox 360 and PC versions will include the content that came with the original releases of each game on the platform. However, PC users will be able to download Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station from the first Mass Effect game for free.
