Square Enix recently confirmed that the action-RPG Nier is coming to North America for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime in Spring 2010.

Although there are two versions of the game, Nier Gestalt and Nier Replicant, North America will only be receiving the Gestalt version. In the Gestalt version players will take on the role of the Nier, a burly man who is looking to find a cure for the Black Scrawl virus that has infected his daughter.
