BioWare has just revealed a new character from Mass Effect 2, known only as Subject Zero. Along with this reveal the company has released these four new screenshots of her in action.

Subject Zero's past will likely remain a mystery until the game comes out, with only that she has "been around, ran with gangs, [and] wiped out some gangs" currently known. She is a powerful biotic, and marks herself with tattoos of her favorite kills, "the good ones" as she would say.

Subject Zero is the third character to be revealed from Mass Effect 2, following Thane, an assassin, and Grunt, an "unpredictable" Krogan. More information about the rest of Shepard's crew is planned to be released in the coming months. Mass Effect 2 is still scheduled for early 2010.
