Release dates for various upcoming RPGs have been floating around the Internet recently, with no official confirmation to be found for any of them. That confirmation came directly from Nintendo when it released its 2009 lineup for the Wii and DS. The following RPGs were listed in the lineup:

Nintendo Wii

• Little King's Story - February 17, 2009
• Rune Factory: Frontier - March 2009

Nintendo DS

• My World, My Way - February 3, 2009
• Legacy of Ys: Books I & II - February 10, 2009
• Puzzle Quest: Galactrix - Q1 2009
• Suikoden Tierkreis - Q1 2009
• Little Magician's Magic Adventure - Q1 2009
• Avalon Code - February 2009
• Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon - February 16, 2009
• Pokemon Platinum - March 22, 2009
• Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time - Spring 2009

Notable in this list are Pokemon Platinum, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, and Avalon Code, none of which had been given official North American release date confirmation before. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time was only listed under the Nintendo DS section of the lineup even though there is also a Nintendo Wii version in development. Look for more of these release dates to be ironed out in early 2009.
