Nintendo of America shipped Final Fantasy IV Advance to retailers today; it stands as the third incarnation of one of Square Enix's most classic RPGs in North America, being preceded by releases on the SNES and the original PlayStation. Those who aren't able to see the game on their own GBA systems yet can now breathe in the media and information posted on the game's North American site which opened this evening.

Surprisingly, the Japanese release of Final Fantasy IV Advance will come after its North American release on December 15. Look for an in-house review of the game on RPGamer shortly.
