Shining Force Neo Singer Revealed

Shining Force Neo for the PlayStation 2 will be the latest RPG to get its own theme song. Sega has announced that J-pop singer Ai Kawashima has been recruited for this purpose.

Kawashima, a new artist with five singles under her belt, will take part in the production of the opening and ending themes in addition to performing them. Sega has not yet released any details on the theme songs themselves; however, the company has stated that they will be used in a variety of cross-promotions. Sega also announced that those pre-ordering the game at Japanese retailers will receive a DVD with promotional videos, commercials and other clips.

Shining Force Neo is scheduled for release in Japan on March 24. There is no word as of yet on a North American release.
