Black Isle studios announced today that Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for the PS2 has shipped to retailers across the continent. Developed by Snowblind Studios, the game should be available right now for a suggested price of $49.99.

BG:DA is the console debut of this highly successful RPG series. Although more of an action RPG than its PC brethren, the game stays true to the spirit of its Dungeons & Dragons heritage. For more information, check out our full preview and previous coverage.
