Sunsoft announced Mappet Monsters last week, and promptly announced the real name as Eternal Eyes this week. Eternal Eyes is a Tactics-style RPG with a storyline written by Kenji Terada, the writer of Final Fantasy one through three. The game has already been released in Japan, and is currently scheduled to be released here in January of 2000, although most online stores do not seem to have it in their upcoming lists.
