We've acquired some more info on Eternal Arcadia, the upcoming Dreamcast RPG from Sega. The game's main character is Vyse, a young member of the Blue Air Pirates. He uses a large sword and a small sword as weapons. Aika is a female friend of Vyse who uses an oversized boomerang as a weapon. Then there's Fina, the healing female of the group, who was saved by Vyse. The story begins with the Blue Air Pirates attacking a black market merchant ship. They are robbing it to give the goods to the poor, so they're good pirates apparantly. Battles will be in a 45 degree top down perspective, and will zoom in on characters that are currently in motion. Special techniques will have their own short real-time rendered animation sequence, similar to summons in FFVII and FFVIII.
