Sega has released a new trailer for Yakuza Kiwami 2, a remake of the PlayStation 2 title Yakuza 2 utilizing the same game engine as Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. This video, shown below, highlights the visual improvements and gives a peek at both series regulars like Kazuma Kiryu, Daigo Dojima, and Majima Goro as well as Yakuza 2 antagonist, Ryuji Goda.   

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is set one year after the events of the first Yakuza game. In addition to the original story, an extra scenario starring Majima Goro is included that continues story threads introduced in Yakuza Zero. The game will release on PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 7, 2017. There is currently no information about a western release.
