Koei Tecmo announced at Tokyo Game Show via trailer that Celica will be playable in Fire Emblem Warriors. Celica is one of two main protagonists who appear in Fire Emblem Gaiden and its remake Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, which was released earlier this year. Much like her original incarnation, Celica is able to use a sword as well as magic. The trailer, viewable below, also shows off all twenty-two characters revealed thus far.

Fire Emblem Warriors is the latest musou-Nintendo franchise mash-up and due out on the Nintendo Switch and the New 3DS.  It will soon be released in Japan on September 29, then come to North America and Europe about a month later, on October 20.
