Despite Destiny 2 still being two weeks away from release, Bungie and Activision put a launch trailer for the multiplayer FPS/RPG hybrid. The cinematic trailer sets up humanity marking its last stand as Ghaul and the Red Legion look to claim power on Earth. In addition, the companies also put out a short clip focusing on gunslinger Cayde-6.

The sequel to 2014's Destiny, Destiny 2 will be released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2017, with the PC version set to be released on October 24, 2017. The PC version will be available exclusively through Battle.net.
