What?

This year, RPGamer is getting ready to buckle in for a double-header of gaming goodness during the annual Extra Life marathon. We'll be playing games all day in order to raise money. Our team is on a mission to save kids through gaming and we need your help. Each of us has chosen our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital where thousands of children are treated each year, regardless of their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few.

When?

We'll be streaming all Halloween weekend. There will be two giant 12-hour blocks from 9am to 9pm Central Time on October 29th and 30th at twitch.tv/rpgamer.

Why?

Extra Life is an annual charity event where participants pledge to game for 24 hours in exchange for donations. 100% of the money raised will go to a Children's Miracle Network hospital local to the participant. All donations are collected securely by the hospitals. They fund medical care, research, and education that saves and improves the lives of children facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents. You can see the hospital your donation will go to on the Extra Life page of the RPGamer team member you're donating to.

How Do I help?

Go to RPGamer's Extra Life team page at www.extra-life.org/team/rpgamer and sponsor one of our players! RPGamer kindly asks that you consider donating to this worthy cause. Then, be sure to come back and watch the live stream to support the RPGamer participants as they play all weekend on October 29th and 30th. You will be able to chat with the team by registering for chat on Twitch.tv and then chatting on RPGamer's channel. It's our sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support us with a monthly pledge or one-time gift that will go directly to that team member's chosen hospital. Last year, Extra Life raised more than $8 million dollars to save kids, but in 2016 our goals, just like the needs of the kids we serve, are much, much higher. We can't do this without your help.
