Nordic Games announced that it will release a remastered version of action RPG Darksiders. Titled Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, the game will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Wii U on October 25, 2016, and cost $19.99/£14.99/€19.99.

Darksiders is an action RPG originally released in 2010 and inspired by the apocalypse and its four horsemen. Players take on the role of one of the horsemen, War, who arrives in a battle between the forces of Heaven and Hell only to learn that he has apparently arrived too early. In bringing the game to new platforms, the Warmastered Edition features significant graphical upgrades on the original game. The game's sequel, Darksiders II, received a remastered release in October 2015.
