The first System Shock game is now available to buy for PC on GOG.com as an Enhanced Edition. The game is available to purchase at a price of $9.99/£6.59, with an initial 20% discount on offer. Those who already own System Shock 2 can get the game 40% off, with a bundle containing System Shock: Enhanced Edition and System Shock 2 receiving a 10% discount on its $19.98/£13.18 price. The discounts are available until September 29, 2015.

System Shock was originally released for PC in 1994. The Enhanced Edition offers resolutions up to 1024x768, or a native widescreen mode of 854x480, compared to the original's 640x480 resolution. The new version also feature a toggleable mouselook mode, and reworked inventory and item management along with bug fixes and remappable controls. It also includes the unaltered original game made to work on modern systems.
