After ten years in development, Iron Tower Studio's The Age of Decadence finally has a release date. The game, which has been available to play through Steam Early Access since November 2013, will see a full release through Steam, GOG.com, and GamersGate. The most recent update on Early Access added in the last location to the game, meaning it can currently be played from start to finish, with the period up until its release being used for bug fixes, balance tweaks, and to add extra flavour text.
The Age of Decadence is set in a low-magic, post-apocalyptic fantasy world inspired by the late days of the Roman Empire. The game is said to have thirteen different endings based on player's choices throughout and focuses more on survival and dealing with various factions over dungeon crawling and monster killing. Battles are tactical, with the game featuring over a hundred quests across twenty locations.
