Obsidian has a date for the first expansion to its Kickstarter success story Pillars of Eternity. Titled The White March - Part I, players can start playing August 28, 2015.

The White March, which can be accessed during the game whether the main story has been completed or not, takes place in a snow-covered area of Eora. Included is a higher level cap, a new combat AI, and multi-class abilities. Additionally, two new companions, a monk and a rogue,are included in the expansion.

The White March - Part I will release on PC, Mac, and Linux. At this time, no price point for the expansion has been announced.
