Deep Silver and inXile Entertainment have announced that they will be bringing Wasteland 2 Director's Cut to Playstation 4 and Xbox One this fall. Wasteland 2 Director's Cut will be available digitally and at retail in the Americas on October 13, 2015. The game will release in all other regions October 16, 2015. There will also be a playable version of the game at Gamescom 2015.

The Director's Cut takes the 2014 PC RPG and adds a laundry list of improved systems, textures, abilities and perks, brand new character models, as well as a complete reworking of the game's UI and controls to optimise gameplay for home consoles. Boasting overhauled graphics, new voice-overs, gameplay enhancements, and balance tweaking, the Director's Cut is set to be the definitive edition of the game.
