The game is available for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices running iOS version 7.0 or above, as well as Android devices running Android 4.0 or higher, and costs $14.99/£10.49/€13.99.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen's iOS and Android version is based on the 2008 Nintendo DS release of the game. RPGamers interested in the title should note that, as of the time of writing, an error has caused it to be listed on the iOS App Store under the title "Dargon Quest IV".
