Action RPG Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms is now available on Steam Early Access. The game, which is created by Slovak developer Games Farm and published by Germany-based bitComposer Games, has a discounted pre-order price of $27.99/€27.99/£22.99 (which will also be applied to its first week on sale) and is scheduled to be fully released through Steam, Green Man Gaming, Uplay, and GamersGate in Q4 2014.

Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms features two parallel worlds, a Shadow Realm and a Mortal Realm, along with a selection of main characters stated to offer different experiences and storylines. Players take control of a demon called the Devourer, who takes the souls of the dead before bringing them back as puppets. The game is said to offer its own version of karma, with choices having an impact on players' games. The Early Access build of the game allows players to go through the first chapter of the game. Extra features, such as voiced dialogues and crafting systems, expected to be added during the Early Access period. RPGamers can check out the Early Access trailer for the game below.
