Originally released for the PSP in North America five years ago, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite has been updated and is available now on Apple's iOS App Store. The game, released on July 3, is an enhanced version of the original game featuring improved graphics, simple touch screen controls, a lock-on target camera, and online play for up to four people.
The game is a premium priced app at $15, but Capcom points out that there are no hidden costs or additional fees after download. This is the full PSP experience on an iOS device. The game also features MFi Controller support and is a Universal App that works across the iPhone, iPod, and iPad line. As usual, make sure to check device compatibility on the store page before downloading.
