Square Enix recently released a video showcasing the features of Bravely Default: Flying Fairy in preparation for the upcoming enhanced version Bravely Default: For the Sequel.

A large portion of the video is dedicated to the battle system, which will be changed to be similar to the as yet unnamed sequel. As stated in a previous story, the For the Sequel version of Bravely Default will be the basis for the international release.
