The previously teased Tales game has now been revealed as Tales of Innocence R, an updated version of Tales of Innocence, the ninth mothership Tales game released only in Japan at the end of 2007 for the Nintendo DS.

The producer, Ryuji Odate, has said that the "R" does not stand for "Remake", but rather "Reimagination". The PS Vita version of Tales of Innocence will feature an updated battle system, scenario changes, and reworked areas. More information will be forthcoming, as Tales of Innocence R will appear in a playable form at TGS. An additional countdown is also visible on the teaser site suggesting a further Tales Of annoucement.
