Newcomer GhazzaiGames has announced that its first RPG endeavor Author Adventure: Tale of the Tainted Tomes will be releasing on Xbox Live Indie Games this summer. The game has players taking on the roles of famous literary authors such as Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare and Mark Twain as they fight the demons that have been created by other authors in the literary world.

The game uses a turn-based system called "Book Combat." Like the standard turn-based systems, characters will have three options: offense, defense and run. By selecting offensive or defensive skills, a menu appears with four slots, each with four different skills. As characters level up, they will gain new skills based off of the novels that they have written.
