The long-awaited continuation of the Golden Sun series finally has a release date. Nintendo has announced that Golden Sun: Dark Dawn will arrive on November 29, just in time for the holiday season.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is set thirty years after the events of the first two games. A new catastrophe threatens the world, and a new group of heroes must master the power of psyenergy to stop it. The series' iconic Djinn system returns, letting the player gather more than 70 different Djinn that can be used to either awaken the heroes' powerful psyenergy abilities or to summon forth mighty beings to attack the heroes' foes. In addition, Dark Dawn will continue the series tradition of using psyenergy to move rocks, freeze water, and otherwise alter the landscape in order to explore and solve puzzles.
