Gamers who've been wanting to play Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords but aren't owners of a PSP or a Nintendo DS may finally be in luck. D3 Publisher of America has announced that it will be bringing the game to the Wii, the PlayStation 2, and PCs this fall and to cellphones in early 2008. The game will also be debuting later this year on the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade. Vicious Cycle Software will bring the game to the PlayStation 2 and the Wii, while THQ Inc.'s ValuSoft and THQ Wireless division will work on the PC and mobile versions.

"It has been tremendously exciting for us to see Puzzle Quest find such a wide-ranging audience," commented Yoji Takenaka, the executive vice president and chief operating officer for D3 Publisher of America. "We look forward to growing the fanbase even further through what we are confident will be successful relationships with such highly regarded allies as Infinite Interactive, THQ and Vicious Cycle."

Puzzle Quest combines RPG mainstays such a levels, hit points, and a customizable hero who must defeat an evil overlord, with turn-based, head-head puzzle battles. It was release in March of this year and is rated "E10+".
