Square Enix recently announced Heroes of Mana, the latest game in the Seiken Densetsu series. Heroes of Mana for the Nintendo DS is the first SRPG in the series.

Details of the story are unknown so far, except that it will be handled in a chapter format, and that the main character is a young man named Roger. Like many before him, Roger routinely battles monsters, but does so with the aid of summoned creatures. Before he can go out hunting though, Roger must search for certain ingredients with which to perform the summoning ritual.

There are no details about release dates, Japanese or otherwise. Heroes of Mana will appear at the Tokyo Game Show; further announcements are possible at that time.
