Recent Famitsu scans detailing Xenosaga III: Also Sprach Zarathustra have revealed some tidbits of information regarding the content and battle system of the game. The curtain will rise one year after the events of Xenosaga II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose, where Shion Uzuki has recently resigned from her post at Vector and joined an underground organization. However, she soon discovers that the development of the KOS-MOS project has been officially cancelled. As well, a mysterious new android named "T-elos" is discovered, though its nature has not yet been disclosed.

It has been confirmed that the E.S. mecha battles will be making a return. What will not be making a return, however, is Shion and company--Xenosaga III will mark the final installment of the storyline introduced in Xenosaga I.

While few details about the game have come to light, the game's official website has been opened to the public. No Japanese release dates have been announced for Xenosaga III yet, nor any plans for North American localization.
