The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Bethesda Game Studios revealed today that the voice acting cast of its upcoming Xbox and PC title The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has gained another famous member. Television and film actress Lynda Carter, better known as "Wonder Woman" from the 1970s television series of the same name, will once again lend her voice talents to an Elder Scrolls title. She previously voiced a character in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

"Working on Morrowind was a wonderful experience," said Carter. "It was my first foray into videogames, and it was great fun to be part of a groundbreaking title that brought millions of gamers to explore the endless world. I am honored to come back and participate in the making of Oblivion which represents another major step forward in the evolution of videogames."

Bethesda has promised that Oblivion will feature an "all-star cast," which already includes noted actor Patrick Stewart. Stewart is famous for his distinctive voice and his roles as Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Professor X in the X-Men movies.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be released in North America this holiday season. Keep watching RPGamer for a more precise release date and other Oblivion details.
